Harvest Dinner 2025

Sunnyview Nursing Home & Apartments brought warmth, gratitude, and community spirit together as residents, families, and friends gathered for the facility’s annual Harvest Dinner. The cherished tradition, held each November, celebrates the season of thankfulness while providing an opportunity for loved ones to enjoy quality time and a delicious holiday meal.

This year, the talented dietary staff at Sunnyview prepared a fully homemade Thanksgiving dinner, complete with all the classic favorites. From roasted turkey and savory stuffing to creamy mashed potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and freshly baked pies, every dish was crafted with care and served with pride. The aroma of a home-cooked holiday meal filled the dining room, setting the perfect tone for a festive and heartwarming event.

Residents enjoyed reconnecting with family, sharing stories, and creating new memories in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Laughter and conversation echoed through the halls as tables spread around the entire building were filled with familiar faces and holiday cheer.

Departments heads and staff members expressed their gratitude for the dedicated dietary team, who hard work and culinary talent helped make the celebration special for everyone in attendance. Also our Activity Coordinator Kelsee Herrington, for the months of planning and preparing for this special event as well as all the extra staff that came in to tend to our residents to make them look extraordinary for their families.

The Harvest Dinner continues to be one of Sunnyview’s most beloved annual traditions; a reminder of the importance of togetherness and the joy of celebrating life’s meaningful moments. Sunnyview Nursing Home & Apartments looks forward to continuing this tradition for years to come, honoring the spirit of community and the comfort of home during the holiday season.
