COVID-19 Community Update
Sunnyview Nursing Home & Apartments: COVID-19 Community Update
Sunnyview Nursing Home & Apartments is currently responding to a COVID-19 outbreak within our facility. At this time, twenty-three (23) residents and eleven (11) staff members have tested positive for COVID-19.
The health and safety of our residents, staff, families, and community remain our highest priority. We want to reassure the public that we are fully following all CDC and CMS guidelines in our response to this situation. These measures include:
Immediate isolation of residents who test positive
Quarantine of affected staff members
Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all staff
Universal masking and enhanced infection control procedures
Increased cleaning, disinfecting, and monitoring throughout the building
Our dedicated healthcare team is working around the clock to provide high-quality, compassionate care to those who are ill while protecting other residents from further exposure.
We understand that this is concerning for families and the community, and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate this challenging time. Like many healthcare facilities, we are experiencing staffing shortages due to illness and required quarantines. However, please know that we are working diligently to maintain adequate staffing levels to ensure the continued safety and comfort of our residents.
We kindly ask for the community’s support and understanding as we continue our efforts to stop the spread of COVID-19 within our building. We will provide additional updates as the situation changes.
Thank you for your continued trust in Sunnyview Nursing Home & Apartments
