Physical therapy is provided by a physical therapist that is a licensed health care professional, who examines and evaluates a patient's condition and then plans and administers treatments to promote optimal health. Physical therapists seek to relieve pain, improve the body's movement and function, maintain cardiopulmonary function, restore, maintain and promote optimal physical function; and limit disabilities resulting from injury or disease.

Occupation therapy is provided by an occupational therapist that is a licensed rehabilitation care professional, which works to restore or improve physical abilities, promote behavioral changes, adapt surroundings, and teaches new skills; the goal is to have the individual achieve her or his best physical and/or mental functioning in daily life tasks. Occupational therapists provide these services on the referral or prescription of a physician, physician assistant, or nurse practitioner.

Speech Therapy uses tools and treats residents for language and cognition skills such as, memory skills, attention, and social interaction. They also work with residents that have chewing and swallowing problems and evaluate meal textures and consistencies.

Restorative Therapy services include both physical and occupational therapies where residents are working with licensed therapists in a goal-based program. Many times this program is offered to restore function following a surgery or illness. After completing the program, many residents move into a maintenance program, tailored to their specific needs.
Therapy Services are available 7 days a week by a strong clinical team of experienced therapists. They are committed in providing residents with rehabilitation and support to maximize positive outcomes. Our goal is to help each resident reach their greatest possible degree of independence. The therapy department utilizes a wide range of equipment and services to deliver the best ongoing care and treatment. The team of therapists and staff at our facility work closely with the residents, physicians and family members to ensure the most appropriate course of treatment for the resident.
